A small neighborhood in Southern California near San Diego has a street that’s home to several doodle dogs. A doodle is a dog with one parent who is a poodle. There were so many doodle dogs on the street. Some of the people there called it Doodle Drive.
#41 Doodle Drive:
Lila the Pomapoo,
Pomeranian mom &, Poodle dad
Once upon a time, in a cozy little house at the end of a winding street, lived a sweet and fluffy dog named Lila. Lila had a shiny black coat and bright, curious eyes that twinkled with mischief. But there was something peculiar about Lila. She didn't like stepping on grass! Every time she ventured into the backyard, she would tiptoe and hop around, trying to avoid the soft, green blades.
Lila's family, who loved her dearly, couldn't help but worry. They wanted her to enjoy the fresh air and play freely in the backyard. So, they put on their thinking caps and devised a brilliant idea. They decided to build an elaborate bridge system for Lila, ensuring she could still explore the outdoors without touching the grass.
Lila's dad, Mr. Johnson, gathered wood, nails, and paint. With each swing of the hammer and stroke of the brush, the magical bridge started taking shape. Lila watched intently, her tail wagging in anticipation. The bridge was a colorful masterpiece, with arcs and loops, twists and turns. It snaked its way through the entire backyard, connecting different spots and forming an intricate network of paths.
Once the bridge was complete, Lila's mom, Mrs. Johnson, adorned it with many delightful decorations. She hung wind chimes that tinkled in the breeze and painted little flowers along the sides. The bridge became a delightful world of its own, just for Lila.
The following day, Lila excitedly stepped onto the first bridge arch. As she walked, she marveled at the view from above, feeling like the queen of her backyard kingdom. She crossed bridges over the flower beds, bypassed the grassy lawn, and even zigzagged over a tiny fishpond.
Lila's joy knew no bounds as she discovered new adventures along her bridge network. She chased butterflies, sniffed the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and even played a game of hide-and-seek with the squirrels. Lila's elaborate bridge system had transformed her backyard into a whimsical wonderland where she could roam without worry.
Word of Lila's incredible bridge system soon spread throughout the neighborhood. People marveled at the beauty and ingenuity of the Johnson family's creation. Inspired by Lila, other dogs began asking their families for their unique bridges.
Lila's bridge not only solved her problem but also brought joy to many other furry friends. The neighborhood became a place where dogs happily trotted along their colorful bridges, wagging their tails and barking with delight.
Lila's bridge system was known far and wide from that day forward. It became a symbol of creativity, problem-solving, and the Johnson family's unconditional love for their furry companion. And every time Lila crossed one of her bridges, she couldn't help but feel grateful for her incredible family who had built her a world of adventures, all without stepping on a single blade of grass.
And so, with her heart full of happiness, Lila continued to explore, play, and inspire others to find unique solutions to their challenges. After all, she was a special dog who taught everyone that with a bit of imagination, even the sky is not the limit!
Love this. Now I want to build some bridges for cookie
