Santiago’s Sleepover Adventure

Santiago was a tiny, fluffy Chi-poo with curly fur and big, curious eyes. He loved his owner, Maria, more than anything in the world. Every day, they played fetch, cuddled on the couch, and took long walks in the park. But one morning, Maria packed a suitcase.

"I have to go on a business trip, Santiago," she said, scratching his ears. "You'll spend the night with my friend Leo and his dog, Benny."

Santiago's ears perked up. Benny was a bouncy golden retriever twice his size! Santiago had never slept anywhere but his cozy bed at home, and now he would be somewhere new.

Maria kissed Santiago goodbye and handed him to Leo. As soon as Santiago arrived at Benny’s house, Benny wagged his tail furiously. "We’re going to have SO much fun!" Benny barked

At first, Santiago missed Maria. He curled up in a corner, his tail tucked under him. But Benny wasn’t having that! He brought Santiago his favorite squeaky toy. "Let’s play!"

That night, Santiago snuggled into a fluffy blanket in Benny’s bed. It wasn’t his usual spot, but it was warm, and Benny’s gentle snoring made him feel safe

When Maria came back the next day, she found Santiago happily playing with Benny. "Did you have fun?" she asked.

Santiago wagged his tail. He had learned something important: new things can be a little scary at first, but they can also turn into an adventure.

And from that day on, Santiago wasn’t just Maria’s pup… he was Benny’s best friend.
