Harrison vs. The Mailman
Harrison was a fluffy, bouncy Goldendoodle with a happy-go-lucky personality, except when it came to the mailman.
Every morning, the birds chirped, the sun shone, and Harrison wagged his tail, until he heard the dreaded footsteps. Clomp. Clomp. Clomp.
Then came the terrible sound… The mailbox lid opening! The letters dropping in!
Harrison hated it.
“HE’S PUTTING STRANGE PAPERS IN THE BOX AGAIN!” Harrison barked, charging to the window. “WHAT IF IT’S A SECRET PLAN TO TAKE OVER THE HOUSE?!
”
His owner, Lucy, sighed. “Harrison, it’s just mail.”
But Harrison knew the truth—the mailman was up to something.
One day, Lucy invited the mailman inside. “This is Hank! He wants to say hi.”
Harrison narrowed his eyes. But then Hank did something unexpected…
He pulled a treat from his pocket.
A treat?!
Harrison sniffed suspiciously. It smelled… delicious. He snatched it up and chewed thoughtfully
.
Maybe this mail-delivering human wasn’t so bad after all.
From that day forward, Harrison still ran to the window every morning, but instead of barking, he wagged his tail
.
After all, Hank might bring mail… but he also brought snacks!
