Gingham’s Bowtie
Gingham was the fanciest French poodle on Doodle Drive.
With his perfectly groomed curls and graceful strut, Gingham always turned heads wherever he went. But what made him truly special was that his owner, Mr. Pierre, who believed that every occasion called for the perfect bowtie.
And not just any bow tie—Gingham’s bow ties.
Every morning, Mr. Pierre would open his enormous bowtie drawer and carefully select the ideal one for the day. A bright yellow bowtie for sunny afternoons in the park. A sparkly silver bowtie for fancy dinner parties. A teeny pumpkin-patterned bow tie for autumn strolls
.
One day, Mr. Pierre pulled out something extra special: a dazzling rainbow bowtie.
“This,” he said, gently placing it around Gingham’s neck, “is for the big parade!
”
Gingham puffed out his chest, feeling extra dapper. He loved parades. He loved waving his fluffy tail at the crowd. He loved walking tall beside Mr. Pierre. He loved the music, the dancing, the laughter.
But most of all, he loved knowing that every bow tie held a memory.
As the parade marched on, people cheered for the dashing little poodle in his perfect bowtie. Gingham twirled and pranced, making sure everyone saw how marvelous he looked.
And from that day forward, Gingham knew—whether it was a picnic, a party, or a pajama day—there was always the perfect bowtie waiting for him
.
Because a poodle as grand as Gingham? Well, he deserved every occasion to shine.
