Big Guy’s Lemonade Patrol
Big Guy was a big, fluffy Shepadoodle with wild curls and a heart full of loyalty. He loved his owner, Jake, more than anything. Wherever Jake went, Big Guy was right beside him, especially when something important was happening.
And today was very important.
Jake had spent all morning setting up his lemonade stand at the end of his driveway. He had a big pitcher of ice-cold lemonade, a stack of cups, and a sign that read: “Lemonade – 50 Cents!”
It was a scorching summer day, and Jake hoped the neighbors would be thirsty. But there was one more thing he needed—his trusty guard dog, Big Guy
.
Big Guy flopped onto the sidewalk beside Jake’s stand, his long tongue hanging out. His job? Protect the lemonade stand at all costs!
The first customer was Mrs. Thompson from down the street. “What a handsome guard dog you have!” she said, handing Jake some coins.
Big Guy sat up straight and puffed out his fluffy chest. ”Lemonade safety, guaranteed!” Big Guy thought.
Then came the mailman. He chuckled. “I see you’ve got some serious security here!”
Big Guy gave a firm “oof,” in response. “No lemonade thieves allowed!
”
As the afternoon wore on, Big Guy kept his watchful eyes on the stand. But oh, it was so hot… and Jake’s lemonade smelled so good.
Finally, Jake realized. “Big Guy, you’ve been guarding all day. You deserve a cold drink too!”
He poured a tiny bowl of lemonade just for Big Guy. The fluffy pup lapped it up happily, his tail wagging
.
By sunset, Jake had sold every last cup of lemonade. He gave Big Guy a proud pat. “Thanks, buddy. Best lemonade guard ever!”
Big Guy wagged his tail—he would protect Jake’s lemonade stand any day.
